Headstart preparation
Uncategorized September 14th, 2008OK, it seems that this time GOA has done their stuff right, a guildie with collectors edition had his key already registered correctly, which hopefully means that everything will work tomorrow morning for SE preorders. I’ve got my headstart key yesterday, so all that’s left to do is preparation. Things to do before getting into the game:
- Disable phone - to make sure nobody is going to bother you on your days off (you did take days off, right?)
- Stack some sleeping - you know you are a nerd if you rest whole day just because you don’t want to sleep the next day. I guess I’m not going to bed before rank 20 tomorrow, so stacking sleep is a good thing to do.
- Hoard food and drink - chips, frozen pizzas to heat up in microwave, a lot of coke, red bull and powerade, my body will hate me.
- Get a shower - last one in many many days.
- Be ready for dark hours - get some movies and/or books (got 3 books to read myself) and some ASCII-dicks to paste on forums when shit hits the fan and servers go down.
I guess that’s it, WAR is coming! Also, we have yet to make any official statement, but most likely we are going to pick [EU] Eltharion Open RvR server to pwn on, hopefully that name is Order-ish enough to lure some Order guilds.

Well, i think ill wait few weeks b4 buying, will look on people feedback about the game [well. don't have the money atm, so all i can do is wait, being an underage sucks].
And a question, i have not-so-fresh pc.
What do YOU think about getting the game with only 756 mb ram [i know, /sob]
I took the test on “Can You Run it?”, and still, the minimum of WAR is 1gb ram.
I know ram is important in mmo’s [played wow, lineage and others].
And i dont want to lag like a bitch.

I wouldn’t even bother with launching it without 2 gigs of ram. I’ve 8gigs in my rig :P.

BTW, you don’t have to smell like an Orc to play one.. one shower a day should be ok, even for an Orc player.

My preps, will be ordering a new cpu ( upgrading from 4,4 ghz to 6,0 ghz ) and another 2gb ram ( 2-4 gb).
Should be enough to run the game smoothly , currently sitting on geforce 8800 GTS.

The game it self uses 1 gig of ram i checked in task manager. If game sucks i will send you my account for half price 25 bucks , deal?
